We moved to the Willamette Valley from Colorado in 2001 for the farming. We started with a small CSA and an organic market garden, but over time, we expanded to include laying hens, and eventually broiler chickens. Over the years, the chickens and eggs have become a larger and larger part of our farm business. Now, together with our children Cedar and Heron, we raise about 1000 broiler chickens each year, and care for more than 300 laying hens.
You can find our products each Saturday from May-October at the Silverton Farmer’s Market, at Town Square Park in downtown Silverton, Oregon.
Our farm is located at 1704 63rd Avenue NE, between Silverton and Salem. It’s a diverse 28 acres, with meadows, forests, and pastures, all with the Little Pudding River meandering through. Although we live outside of town, we’re so happy and proud to call Silverton our home, and becoming part of this wonderful community has been such a blessing.
Every so often, we send an email out to our friends and customers. We want to keep you updated on our inventory, where we’ll be, and how you can get eggs, chicken and produce.
